Chinese Electronic Industry Shines at CES 2026
The global electronic industry witnessed a remarkable surge of Chinese innovation at the recently concluded Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 in Las Vegas. Titled “Emergence of Innovators”, this year’s exhibition served as a global stage where Chinese electronic enterprises stepped into the spotlight.

AI-driven strategic layout has become the core highlight of Chinese enterprises’ global debut. On the opening day of CES, Yang Yuanqing, CEO of Lenovo Innovative Technology, jointly launched “Smarter AI for All” with global partners, marking the official entry of Lenovo’s AI into a new era—a milestone that resonated strongly across the global tech community. The launch event drew an audience of 15,000 global tech professionals, underscoring the widespread attention to Chinese technological innovation.
Lenovo’s in-depth integration of AI technology into global iconic events further demonstrated the practical value of Chinese intelligent solutions. “Over the past decade, Lenovo’s Innovative Technology Conference has been the core platform for us to release strategic visions and showcase innovative achievements,” Yang Yuanqing noted. At CES 2026, the company revealed how its technology is reshaping the F1 racing experience and announced the “First AI World Cup” to be co-created with FIFA in the summer of 2027.
Robotics technology breakthroughs have become another shining point of Chinese electronic enterprises at CES 2026. The humanoid robot exhibition area was a focal point of the show, with Chinese companies accounting for more than half of the participating enterprises, presenting a vivid picture of the sector’s rapid development. Among them, stone technology launched the world’s first wheel-legged sweeping robot with a dual-wheel-leg structure, capable of climbing stairs and traversing complex terrains—a pioneering achievement that realizes three-dimensional space cleaning for the first time.
Chinese enterprises are also accelerating the expansion of intelligent robot application scenarios, driving the industry from passive response to active service. Dreame Technology showcased an embodied intelligent sweeping robot integrating four-legged wheel-legs and a bionic robotic arm, which supports tasks such as sorting and care and actively explores applications in the elderly care scene. Its exhibited “technology ecosystem pool”, integrating intelligent algorithms, high-speed motors and robotic arms, covers diverse scenarios including indoor and outdoor cleaning and home appliance control, demonstrating the versatility of Chinese intelligent manufacturing.
Industry insiders emphasized that the products displayed by Chinese enterprises represent a substantive leap in robotic technology. “Intelligent manufacturing has evolved from passive response to active perception,” an industry expert commented.
While achieving remarkable results at CES 2026, Chinese electronic industry enterprises also face challenges in their internationalization journey. Building an international technology ecosystem “circle of friends” has become an urgent task for their overseas expansion. Lu Gang, whose social media signature is “Connecting China with the global technological innovation ecosystem”, pointed out that participating in overseas exhibitions is only the first step for Chinese enterprises to go global; entering local markets requires a great deal of specific landing work.
Wang Yuquan, a senior industry insider, echoed this view, noting that Chinese enterprises are at the forefront of AI technology development but generally lack experience in international market development—a shortcoming that affects their overseas expansion process, especially for start-ups. A visitor from Shenzhen vividly described the scene at CES 2026 as “like walking around Huaqiangbei in Shenzhen”, with Chinese peers and enterprises everywhere. However, industry insiders revealed that after the exhibition, Chinese participants tend to gather with overseas Chinese, lacking effective connections with local industry peers.
For the global electronic industry, the surge of Chinese innovation at CES 2026 is more than just a display of technological strength—it signifies the deep integration of Chinese enterprises into the global industrial chain and supply chain. As AI technology fully crosses the conceptual stage and integrates into every hardware entity, Chinese electronic enterprises are poised to play a more important role in the global market. Moving forward, how to further open up international cooperation channels and expand the global technology ecosystem “circle of friends” on the basis of technological strength will be a key topic for Chinese electronic enterprises to achieve sustainable development in their global journey.
