408MT多工序加工中心致力于外形复杂的棒料或坯料加工。主轴装于摆动B轴上且机床配有高精度A轴分度头，即可实现车削模式下高达6,000 rpm加工，亦可实现高角度分辨率铣削模式加工。
背面加工单元位于U轴上，既可安装高精度虎钳亦可安装夹头用于内外夹紧，可进行0°-90°旋转用于背面加工。加工中心可在A轴及背面加工单元安装托盘，确保产品快速更换。
