In the reforming and aromatics units, the feed heat exchanger plays the role of recovering the reaction discharge heat, increasing the mixed feed temperature, effectively reducing the heating furnace load, and reducing the pressure drop of the reaction system. It is one of the key process equipment of the unit. The performance of the feed heat exchanger directly affects the energy saving and consumption reduction indicators of the entire device.
1. Core components
Since the cross-sectional shape of the flow channel of the heat transfer plate continues to change along the direction of fluid flow, the disturbance of the flow is greatly enhanced, and turbulence can be formed at a very low Reynolds number (Re), thereby increasing the heat transfer performance of the fluid. The corrugated plate is used as the enhanced heat transfer element, and the corrugated plate has the functions of "self-distribution" and "static stirring". In applications where there are two phases of gas and liquid (two-phase flow), the "static stirring" effect overcomes the separation of the gas and liquid phases caused by the "turning" of the medium baffle in the shell-and-tube heat exchanger, and improves heat transfer. efficiency.
