The SAPORITI PV 500XD is a Ball Valve Grinding machine suitable for balls from 2” up to 16” (max OD 595 mm) it is especially studied for high precision ball valve grinding. The SAPORITI PV500XD has an inclined shape to allow the better view of the working area and the easier flow of dust and coolant which is a lot and aggressive in this type of works.
In the standard equipment a Renishaw probe which allows, with the CNC controlled Y axis the fast centring of grinding tool and ball.

Customized masks on CNC help the operator in ball valve grinding procedure.
The use of high-quality last generation filters for coolant and air and the high performances motors allows this machine to be Eco friendly, energy saving and generating less noise.
Al the machine covers are in stainless steel.
This machine was tested successfully with special Nickel- Boron coating (type Nickel 60A), especially used in ball valve industry and particularly difficult to be worked. On a DN 400 with OD of 590 mm the accuracies reached are: Roughness Ra 0.475 and Roundness 0.0084. Normally reachable accuracy in Roundness is better than 0.01 mm and Roughness Better than Ra 0.2
