在非合金钢、低合金碳钢及马氏体铬钢带进行连续式调质处理过程中，采用氢气淬火系统或熔融金属淬火工艺（冷却梯度可达600 K/s）已被广泛认可并接受。

非合金钢及低合金碳钢带通过以下工艺进行转化：:

• 马氏体回火- 带平整和回火处理
• 奥氏体回火- 获得贝式体的微观结构
• 铅淬火处理，获得珠光体的微观结构

不锈钢铬钢带通过马氏体回火处理过程实现马氏体的转化。

马氏体结构的形成通过2个步骤，在淬火系统中快速冷却和硬化，随后在空气冷却器中实现马氏体的转化，这一处理过程相对于油淬火具有更多显著的优势，尤其是在带材平整度以及表面光洁度方面。

等温转变例如奥氏体回火及铅淬火- 为了在同一条处理线上实现以上4个处理过程，必须对设备部件的配置进行修改。

大功率的氢气淬火(HICON/H2Q技术)也可以实现对碳钢宽带材及厚带材的热处理。

艾伯纳设备能够成功满足汽车业的标准CQI-9(AIAG)。

对于这种特殊应用，钢带进行等温淬火，则可采用带导电加热的加热段和节能的钢带淬火（也可采用无铅设计）。

In steel industry, HICON/H2® bell annealing furnaces developed by EBNER have unique technological advantages in this application. Vertical bright annealing lines also have unique advantages in the bright annealing of stainless steel strips and enjoy a good reputation worldwide. The H/T heat treatment line combines high temperature quenching with high temperature tempering, isothermal bainite annealing and sorbite annealing to make various heat treatments for special steel strips. HICON/H2Q® CAL is developed for the heat treatment of the 3nd generation of HASS/UASS for automotive industry.

In August 2002, EBNER established its wholly-owned subsidiary company of EBNER Industrial Furnaces (Taicang) Co., Ltd. in Taicang, China. It has complete departments and staffing, such as R&D, design, purchase, production, installation and commissioning, quality control, customer service, sales and project management. The company is now located at No. 82, Beijing East Road, Taicang City, covering an area of nearly 100 mu, with around 300 employees and more than 50% are technical forces. Over the past ten more years, the company has provided thousands of furnaces (sets) that not only serve the Chinese market, but also spread all over the world. At present, EBNER Group China has subsidiaries like EBNER Industrial Furnace (Taicang) Co., Ltd., EBNER Trading (Taicang) Co., Ltd., EED Furnaces (Taicang) Co., Ltd., Gautschi Industrial Equipment (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., and Hazelett Trading (Taicang) Co., Ltd.
