先以刷轮研磨除去表面的大毛边，再以纵向毛刷除去横向毛边，因此能够确实除去毛边，做出平滑边缘。
在加工物运送时，毛刷接触面会不断改变，因此能够做出无方向性的摩擦，消除表面粗度方向性造成的差异。
另外，象是齿轮这种复杂形状的加工物，也能彻底除去毛边。
运送装置使用能够吸附突起的特殊皮带，或是使用磁铁运送，因此能够研磨小型加工物或是反面有突起的加工物。
纵向毛刷在毛刷消耗时，可以调整刷毛有效长度与毛刷位置，因此能够维持固定毛刷硬度，总是维持在相同的研磨状态。能够以稳定的质量持续使用至毛刷彻底消耗完毕。
使用2台此研磨机并加装加工品反转装置，即可进行两面处理。另外也可以增设脱磁、水洗干燥设备，打造一体产线。
