工作台式卧式镗铣床采用一体式床身结构，通过工作台Z轴齐纳后进给来加工。
一体式床身结构在保证高刚性的同时，也可长时间维持高精度加工。
BTD-系列具有阶梯形导轨的立柱能增加立柱对主轴箱的支撑。对比其他厂家的立柱形式有明显增强主轴刚性的特点。
BTD-系列主轴头具有主轴夹紧装置（专利申请）。该装置接近主轴端部，大大增加了主轴的切削刚性。
