Product information

A cabinet is a freestanding or self-supporting enclosure used to house and manage electrical or electronic equipment, usually configured with doors, removable or non-removable side panels and back panels. They are an integral part of electrical equipment and provide a carrier for electrical control equipment.
It is usually made of cold rolled steel or alloy, with waterproof, dustproof, anti-electromagnetic interference and other protective effects. Cabinets are usually designed with fixed dimensions and standardised designs to provide vertical and horizontal space for equipment installation. The structure of the cabinet should be based on the electrical and mechanical properties of the equipment and the requirements of the use of the environment to carry out the necessary physical and chemical design, in order to ensure that the structure of the cabinet has a good steel and strength as well as good electromagnetic isolation, grounding, noise isolation, ventilation and heat dissipation and other properties. In addition, the cabinet should have good anti-vibration and shock resistance, corrosion resistance, dustproof, waterproof, radiation and other properties, in order to ensure stable and reliable equipment work. Cabinet should have good usability and safety protection facilities, easy to operate and install and maintenance, and can ensure operator safety.
Cabinets are mainly divided into server cabinets, network cabinets, console cabinets and so on. Server cabinets are mainly used to install servers, monitors, batteries and other 19-inch standard equipment and non-19-inch standard equipment, with good technical performance, including electromagnetic isolation, grounding, noise isolation, ventilation and heat dissipation. Network cabinets are mainly used to store and protect a variety of electronic equipment, such as services In addition, the cabinet should have good anti-vibration and impact resistance, corrosion resistance, dustproof, waterproof, radiation and other properties.

The machining process of cabinets is a technology involving sheet metal processing, through the use of 3D software such as SolidWorks, UG, Pro/E, etc. is also widely used in the design of sheet metal parts, providing data required from 3D graphics editing to CNC machining, which is widely used in the automotive, aerospace, construction, home appliance and other industries. The basic process includes steps such as shearing, stamping/cutting, bending/curling, welding and surface treatment. During sheet metal processing, commonly used equipment includes shearing machines, CNC punching machines, laser/plasma/water jet cutting machines, bending machines, drilling machines, and auxiliary equipment such as uncoilers, levelling machines, deburring machines and spot welding machines. Sheet metal parts are characterised by the fact that they can be processed by means of stamping, bending, stretching, etc. into parts of the required shape and size without changing their thickness.

The surface treatment of the cabinet is an important part to prevent the parts from rusting and to beautify the appearance of the product. Surface pre-treatment includes removing oil, oxide skin, rust, etc., to prepare for post-treatment such as painting, plastic spraying and plating rust layer, etc., in order to enhance the appearance and durability of the product.

Processing of Cabinets: Shearing: Cutting the material to the required size using a shearing machine.
Stamping/Cutting: Plastic deformation of the material using a mould to achieve a predetermined shape and size.
Bending/Curling: The material is bent at a specific angle by means of a bending machine.
Welding: Separate sheets or parts are joined together by welding.
Surface Treatment: Including painting, plastic spraying and rust-proof plating to enhance the appearance and durability of the product.
