Main functions and structural features of grinding machines
Structure Overview:
The machine adopts fixed beam gantry for vertical axis and single arm gantry for horizontal axis; the gantry and double vertical axis are of integral structure, and the whole machine has high rigidity and stability. The double vertical axes are installed on the fixed beam gantry for grinding the ballistics on both sides of the wire rails, and the single-arm gantry is installed with a surface grinder for grinding the top surface of the wire rails.
X-axis (table left and right)
Y1, Y2 axes (front and rear of vertical axis), Y3 (front and rear of horizontal axis)
Z1, Z2 axis (vertical axis lift), Z3 (horizontal axis lift)
Structural characteristics:
a. Machine bed, column, grinding head, crossbeam, sliding frame are all HT250 cast iron, resin sand integral casting, tempered, good rigidity, stable structure, to meet the requirements of high-efficiency, high-precision equipment on the basic parts.
b. The bed guide rail and table are double V-type, the guide rail surface is pasted with Teflon, which has good guiding, good self-lubricating performance, low friction, no crawling, and smooth movement to ensure the running accuracy of the table;
c. Fixed beam beam guide double vertical grinding part, up and down, front and rear direction respectively, using two precision heavy pre-pressure roller linear guide, to ensure sufficient running rigidity and accuracy retention.
d. The left and right (X-axis) movements of the worktable are driven by the cylinder to push the worktable, encoder plus rack and pinion output and feedback signals to achieve the left and right reciprocating movements of the worktable.
e. Double vertical beam, front and rear drive by servo motors through the reducer plus flexible coupling drive ball screw, push the grinding head back and forth movement. The double grinding head seat is driven by two sets of independent feeding ball screws with grating compensation.
f. Vertical drive of double vertical axis is driven by servo motor directly connected to ball screws.
g. Horizontal axis beam, up and down, front and rear, adopts ball screw + servo (up and down with brake) motor structure, which greatly reduces the start-up friction coefficient and improves the transmission accuracy and safety and reliability.
h. The spindle drive of double vertical grinding machine adopts frequency conversion motor to ensure that the grinding wheel grinds the workpiece with the best constant linear speed.
i. The machine is equipped with diamond forming roller dresser (double vertical axis) and diamond pen dresser (horizontal axis), which are fixedly installed on the right side of the worktable and installed in a straight line with the centre of the workpiece. The height of the diamond pen is slightly lower than the surface of the disk table, and the double vertical axes need to be lifted up and down to the height of the forming roller when the diamond forming roller is being dressed, and then move forward and backward respectively to be close to the roller for dressing.
j. The grinding wheel cover of the horizontal axis is equipped with an automatic straightening device. The automatic straightening device is driven by a cylinder, and after the workpiece is clamped by the double bearings, the magnetic force of the electric permanent clamping suction cup is adjustable in three stages, and the workpiece is magnetically suctioned to the workpiece for grinding after the table reciprocates for three times.
3、Manipulator
The machine is equipped with an independent electrical box and a screw-mounted operating panel box, which is located at the right front of the machine. The operation panel box includes a display, operation button board, movable first wheel, etc., which is convenient for operation and observation.
4、Operating interface
The numerical control system of this machine tool is equipped with special software for grinding of Zhejiang Zhongquan Numerical Control Science and Technology Co. Especially beginners are easy to get started. This software is designed according to our accumulated experience.
5、Machine tool lubrication;
Hydraulic lubrication system, using an independent oil tank arrangement design, so that changes in its temperature rise does not affect the accuracy of the machine tool, to improve the stability of the machine tool work. Hydraulic lubrication system adopts a closed oil supply and return method, which prolongs the service life of hydraulic oil, reduces the failure rate of the system, and makes maintenance more convenient.
The lubricating oil tank is equipped with fine filtration system and pressure protection system, which makes the system safer and more reliable.
The machine tool adopts centralised lubrication system, and the lubricant flow of each lubrication part can be adjusted separately.
6、Machine protection;
The machine tool adopts a full shield structure, which can prevent water and fog from splashing out and safe operation.
The working table, sliding seat and grinding head are equipped with waterproof folding cloth on both sides.
7、Electrical system;
The machine adopts Taiwan new generation CNC system. Manual feeding comes with suspended hand-cranked pulse generator. The machine adopts independent electrical cabinet, equipped with three-colour alarm light. It adopts centralised operation control panel, where all operating components and CNC system are concentrated.
8、Cooling system;
The cooling system adopts high flow and direct spray to cool the surface of workpiece grinding, and the flow of coolant can be adjusted manually as needed. The refluxed coolant, through the reflux tank first flows through the magnetic separator, paper filtering device and then flows into the coolant tank. After the secondary filtration, the sand particles and chips in the coolant are filtered to ensure the grinding quality.
V. Main working environment of the machine tool
1. The total power consumption is 33 KW, and the power feed is three-phase four-wire system.
2. Voltage AC380V, 50HZ, fluctuations of ± 10%.
3. Control voltage is AC24V/DC24V.
4. Ambient temperature is 5 ℃ ~ 40 ℃, humidity is ≤ 80 ﹪, the ambient air shall not contain salt and corrosive gases.
5. The machine should be away from vibration sources, heat sources and humid environment, and no direct sunlight. The foundation of the machine tool should be made in strict accordance with the requirements of machine tool foundation.
