EnvironTec DMG series double film gas tank was designed and developed by ENTEC of Austria (since 1992) and has completed several engineering cases to date. Compared with traditional steel structure gas holder, double film gas holder has low cost, rapid installation and no need for anti-corrosion maintenance, so it has been widely used and developed. The unique and novel appearance of the double film gas holder has become the most beautiful scenery in environmental engineering.

1. Function description

The double membrane gas holder is mainly composed of three parts: outer membrane, inner membrane and bottom membrane. The inflatable outer film is formed into a protective shell, which can continue to bear pressure and maintain stiffness even in strong winds, rain and snow. The inner membrane is used to store biogas and automatically shrinks and expands according to the gas storage capacity. The bottom film is laid on the civil foundation, so that the methane gas is completely sealed between the inner membrane and the bottom film.

The gas cabinet comes with a set of overpressure protection device to prevent overpressure in case of emergency. Antifreeze can be added to the water seal to meet the use of cold conditions. EnvironTec uses stainless steel guide rails and Hilti expansion bolts for on-site installation, which eliminates the need for embedment and facilitates civil construction and quick installation.

3. Membrane material

All imported biogas membrane materials have flame retardant, antibacterial and UV resistance properties, and meet the following standards: sun fastness in line with DIN54004 level 7 standard, flame retardant performance in line with DIN 4102 B1 design standard, thermal expansion and contraction resistance in line with DIN53361 standard, water resistance in line with DIN 51635 standard, Ductility according to DIN 53359.

The outer film adopts PVC/PVDF coating, which has high strength and high self-cleaning property. The inner membrane has good air tightness and remains inert to the main components of biogas (CH4, H2S). The strength selection of the film material is generally in the range of 4,000 N/5 cm to 9,000 N/5 cm, and the strength of the film material can be calculated according to the wind and snow load.

4. Control the device

The fan is an important part of the double film gas holder. The anti-corrosion and explosion-proof fan made of special FRP material is selected to adapt to the harsh field environment and ensure the durability of the fan.

The gas storage monitoring device is an important part of the gas tank. The methane storage signal can be used for the remote control of the subsequent biogas user equipment, such as automatically starting the methane torch when the level of the tank reaches 90%. When the reduction is lower than 20%, the low alarm is given, and the gas equipment such as biogas booster fan and boiler is shut down.

In 2009, its subsidiary Bilgeri Environtec GmbH entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanghai Zhongcheng Yinghuan Environmental Technology Co., LTD., aiming at the localization of biogas technology. After ten years of cooperation and mutual trust, China and Austria established the Sino-Austrian joint venture Environ (Shanghai) New Energy Technology Co., LTD in June 2019.

The new R&D base and plant facilities are located in Shanghai Jinshan First Industrial Park, covering an area of 5,000 square meters. "Global market, Made in China", the joint venture company will provide high-quality products and services to a wider range of markets in China, Southeast Asia, Japan, Europe and the United States.

In 2009, EnvironTec participated in the Xi 'an Fifth Sewage Plant project supported by the Japan Cooperation Bank (JBIC), providing a complete set of biogas process equipment such as double membrane gas tank, wet desulfurization, dry desulfurization, torch, filtration and dehumidification, which marked EnvironTec's successful entry into the Chinese municipal wastewater market.

In 2012, EnvironTec was selected as the torch recommended supplier in the "China Rural Energy Ecological Construction Project" supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF). Environtec has successively served more than 50 rural biogas projects in Jiangxi Province and Heilongjiang Province.

In 2013, EnvironTec cooperated with PURAC of Sweden to provide a complete set of process equipment, such as biological desulfurization, double membrane gas tank and torch, in the Malaysia Pantai sewage treatment plant project invested by Beijing Water, which is a milestone for the company's development in Southeast Asia.

In 2016, EnvironTec was invited to participate in the drafting of the national standard GB for biogas torches and the international standard ISO.

In 2019, "Ten years of grinding a sword", after ten years of cooperation and mutual trust, the two sides established the Sino-Austrian joint venture: "Environ (Shanghai) New Energy Technology Co., LTD." in June 2019.

By the fourth quarter of 2020, EnvironTec has participated in supplying more than 1,000 biogas projects and has been widely recognized by industry peers, environmental engineering companies, owners, design institutes, investment companies and operating units.

In 2022, the national standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T41191-2021 Flare for biogas engineering was jointly issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration on December 31, 2021. The document will be officially implemented from July 1, 2022. The standard stipulates the relevant technical indicators of biogas torches, such as heat flux, noise, temperature, safety, structure and appearance, which is conducive to improving product quality and safety standards and preventing industry chaos or shoddy manufacturing. EnvironTec was one of the main drafters of the current standard.
