Product information

HH-Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (High Field)

Purpose

The magnetic field of this system is supplied by an electromagnet, thus it is strong and can accommodate the measurement of a wide range of magnetic materials. Furthermore, for measuring the magnetic susceptibility of paramagnetic and diamagnetic substances, it is significantly faster and more accurate than conventional sensitive balance methods.

Features

1.The magnetic field coil is excited by a scanning power supply, with its scanning speed and amplitude freely adjustable. The magnitude and direction of the magnetizing field are determined using a gaussmeter in the magnetic field measurement unit to ensure more accurate magnetic field measurements. The scanning current output supplies the excitation current, featuring no mechanical components, thus enabling a smooth zero-crossing function of the magnetizing field.

2.The vibration head features a dual-stage vibration isolation structure effectively blocking vibrational coupling between the oscillator and the environment. Driven by a signal oscillator, it achieves an amplitude of approximately 2mm. With three-dimensional adjustment capabilities, it precisely positions the sample over the detection coil’s saddle region.

3.The detection coil employs a fully enclosed four-wire configuration without net difference, exhibiting strong noise suppression capability and substantial effective output signals, ensuring high-resolution performance of the instrument.

4.Signals for magnetic moment measurement and corresponding signals (such as magnetic field, temperature, etc.) can be processed by a computerized X-Y recorder for data handling.

5.Under the condition of a pole spacing of 50mm (with the detection coil spacing at 30mm), the highest sensitivity achievable is 3~6×10^-5emu (Note: This refers to dynamic testing).

6.With a pole spacing of 50mm (and detection coil spacing of 30mm), it ensures variable temperature measurements can be conducted under high-sensitivity conditions.
