KYN28-12 metal armored switchgear is a mid mounted assembly structure, which has a high design starting point, high technical content, and high reliability. Suitable for receiving and distributing electrical energy in 3.6-12KV three-phase AC 50Hz power grids. And implement control, monitoring, and protection for the circuit.

This switchgear can meet the requirements of GB3906, IEC298 and other standards, and has "five prevention" functions such as preventing accidental operation of circuit breakers, preventing loaded handcart, preventing live closing of grounding switches, preventing power transmission when the grounding switch is in the grounding position, and preventing accidental entry into live isolation. The switchgear can be equipped with both ABB's VD4 vacuum circuit breaker and domestically produced VS1 vacuum circuit breaker, making it a high-performance distribution device.

1. General instructions

The design and structure of the high-voltage switchgear comply with standards, consisting of a fixed cabinet and a handcart. It is a fully enclosed metal structure, which includes a handcart switch room, a busbar room, an isolation contact room, a cable room, and a low-voltage room (the low-voltage room includes intelligent control and protection units, measuring instruments, secondary terminals, auxiliary switches, and small busbars, etc.). The handcart switch room is separated from the isolation contact room, cable room, etc. by a partition made of insulation material, and an insulation valve is installed on it. The other rooms are separated by grounded metal plates to prevent faults from passing through and spreading. Adequate space is required for each device to facilitate the connection and expansion of incoming and outgoing cables, maintenance of fixed components, and replacement of components. High voltage switchgear can operate safely in the event of a major short circuit fault, and can withstand the electrical and thermal effects and mechanical pressure caused by this, without deformation or damage. Under fault conditions, the channels for gas discharge and pressure release are not allowed to face the operator.

2. Performance description of high-voltage switchgear

The outer shell of the cabinet and the partition of the functional unit are both formed by bending aluminum zinc coated steel plates and assembled with specialized fixtures. The steel plate shell with a thickness of no less than 2mm has strong corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and the fully enclosed structure with a complete and non deformable protection level complies with IEC 529. The switchgear is air insulated, and the design and manufacturing of the cabinet ensure the interchangeability of the same type of handcart. The assembly of component boards, doors, frames, and other cabinets is smooth and embedded without any ripples. Necessary ribs and brackets are provided to reduce impact and avoid unprocessed burrs. The welding and grounding points at corners and edges are firm and smooth, and cracks, joints, and broken lines are not allowed.
