The Gripper is used in the construction of pile foundation on water (at sea) to fix and grip the pile, thus ensuring the positioning accuracy and attitude of the pile to meet the construction requirements. The Gripper is installed on a deck platform which can be moved along the longitudinal and transverse tracks of the vessel. During non-operating hours, the pile carrier is completely recovered within the lateral contour line of the vessel and does not affect the docking and operation of the ship; during operating hours, the Gripper is pushed out to the side by the hydraulic propulsion device for piling operation. The power of the whole Gripper comes from the independent hydraulic station.
