       The Mooring Tensioner is an innovative, cost-effective and time-saving product that can be used for chain adjustments, pre-tensioning moorings and connecting or disconnecting anchor lines. All work is performed underwater without the use of winches or other heavy equipment.

Product Features：Once the mooring line is positioned in the desired location, the mooring line is relaxed and placed in the correct orientation. The mooring tensioner is attached to this mooring line and can be adjusted on either the mooring side or the platform side. At this stage, the adjustable chain is locked in the mooring tensioner. When the module reaches the bottom, the module is lowered and the movable line is floated away. The chain is now securely attached to the platform.

The active anchor chain is released by separating the cam mechanism using an auxiliary line (or ROV). The chain is pulled through the unit until the desired length is reached, at which point, to secure the chain in the mooring tensioner, the cam is reactivated. The cams provide a secondary locking mechanism to keep the chain engaged, and excess chain resulting from the adjustment process can be discarded on the seabed near the mooring tensioner, where it can still be used for future adjustment operations.
