The LA 801 series quick connectors are used for pressure and vacuum testing of straight pipes or boreholes. The quick connectors are suitable for underwater, helium gas testing.
The LA 801 has a built-in safety device that prevents the quick connector from suddenly disconnecting under pressure, and the internal sealing structure ensures durability and extremely high leak test performance.
Technical parameters:
Working Pressure] Inlet B: from vacuum up to 70 bar.
Leakage rate] 10-3 mbar-l/s (10-4 Pa-m³/s)
Working temperature] +5℃～+80℃.
Body Material] The main structural parts are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and aluminium alloy.
[Seal Material] The main seal is made of Nitrile Rubber, and depending on the medium, other materials can be designed according to the customer's needs.
Test piece material hardness] Test piece surface roughness must be greater than Ra0.32, hardness value is less than 95HRB, can be completed under the rated pressure clamping seal, if the test piece
If the hardness of the test piece is lower than 40HRB, the surface roughness must be greater than Ra0.16 to complete the sealing; can be connected to the copper pipe and other materials according to the requirements of the pipe fittings.
Test procedure] Insert LA801 into the test piece; rotate the quick connector handle by 90° and connect the quick connector to it.
