The LA-FE series of quick connectors is used for pressure and gas tightness testing of straight pipes, hoses and male components. It utilises the elastic sealing principle to seal round or rough surfaces and can also be

LA-FE quick connectors do not cause damage to test pieces. Special two-position quick connectors are available on request to seal two ports in close proximity to each other (see Figure 1, Special types);
and special quick connectors for sealing rubber and other hoses (see figure 2).
Technical parameters:
[Working pressure] Inlet B: from vacuum to max. 35 bar, other pressure ranges on request. When used in pressurised environments, the LA-FE quick couplings must be secured by a fixing device.
For vacuum applications only, no fixing device is required. For working pressures above 10 bar, polyurethane seals are recommended, and the control pressure must be increased accordingly, e.g. by using an inlet B with an inlet B of up to 35 bar.

Operating pressure] Inlet P: 4 to 12 bar clean compressed air, hydraulic pressure up to 42 bar with controlled pressure regulator.

Housing, piston and gasket are made of aluminium alloy.
[Seal material] The main seal and O-ring are made of Nitrile Rubber (NBR). Urethane seals are available for more abrasive applications.
Test Procedure] Fix the quick connector with the fixing fixture; insert the test piece into the quick connector, apply the control air source, the quick connector sealing connection is completed, and apply the test pressure. Disconnection
When connecting, release the test pressure first, then release the control pressure. Remove the quick connector.
