The QY-18 multi-stand tandem cold rolling mil was independently developed and designed by Wuhan Qianye,filling the gap in China's domestic stainless steel and silicon steel tandem cold rolling mils.At present,more than 20 sets of this type of mill have been put into production and are sold at home and abroad.

Features and Advantages：
1.High productivity.Strip is rolled continuously through multi stands without stop except for work roll changing.In comparison,reversing mills require each coil to pause for loading,unloading,threading and reverse rolling on each stage,which result in lower production efficiency.
2.High  yield. The tandem mills can roll all parts of strips even the weld seam under automatic gauge control system.In comparison,there is a blind area in reversing mills where the automatic gauge control system can not work on both tail and head of strip which have to be cut off,leaving lower yield.
3.Low  power  consumption. Compared to reversing mills,the tandem mill has no need for a number of high-power uncoilers and recoilers,greatly reducing energy consumption and costs.
