The EM123 rail-mounted multifunctional power parameter measuring instrument provides a cost-effective solution for applications such as internal sub-metering, itemized metering, and energy management. 

The EM123 has high precision of Class 0.5. Single-rate or 8/12 time periods and 4-rate options are available. It is equipped with a standard RS485 communication interface and supports Modbus RTU or DL/T645 protocol. It supports single-phase and three-phase. 

The EM123 is compact in size, installed on 35mm standard rails. Currents below 50A can be directly connected. Voltage signals supply power without the need for an auxiliary power supply. It is easy to install, with simple wiring and small engineering volume. It is especially suitable for installation in distribution boxes and various new construction and renovation projects. 

The EM123 supports 2 channels of digital input and 2 channels of digital output functions (only applicable to three-phase meters) to realize local or remote switch signal monitoring and control output functions ("remote signaling" and "remote control" functions). 

The EM123 has a 7-digit LCD display with data scrolling.

Function features: 

■ Measurement: single-phase/three-phase voltage, current, forward/reverse active electrical energy. 

■ Automatic recognition and indication of power direction. 

■ Optional time-of-use (TOU) function. Four rates (peak, off-peak, flat, and valley) can be set with 8 time periods or 12 time periods. 

■ Display: 7-digit LCD display. 

■ Optional 2 channels of digital input status and 2 channels of digital output for alarm or communication switching on/off (only applicable to three-phase meters). 

■ Communication: Standard RS-485 communication interface and infrared communication. MODBUS-RTU or DL/T645 protocol is optional. Standard one channel of active electrical energy pulse output (users need to connect an external voltage of DC5 - 35V). 

■ Powered by voltage signal, no auxiliary power supply is needed. 

■ Circuits below 50A can be directly connected without the need for current transformers. For circuits above 50A, it is recommended to use external current transformers with a secondary current of 5A (for medium and high voltage applications: voltage is connected through PT and current is connected through CT). 

■ Installed on 35mm standard rails. 

■ Host size: single-phase: 76×89×76mm, three-phase: 144×85×75mm.
