Insulation monitoring device with fault location function.

The AM634 is a high-performance insulation monitoring device with fault location function. It is dedicated to medical IT systems and monitors the insulation status of single-phase or three-phase ungrounded networks. At the same time, it monitors the over-temperature and overheating of isolation transformers. The insulation monitoring device can also be used in combination with the intelligent positioning transformer AM605-6 to quickly monitor and locate faulty lines. It has a friendly display interface and can be seamlessly connected to the alarm panel and the HMI centralized alarm system for communication.

Function introduction: 

  • It has the functions of real-time monitoring and fault alarm for the insulation resistance of the monitored IT system to the ground, transformer load current, and transformer winding temperature. 
  • It can real-time monitor and detect disconnection faults of the connection line with the measured system, disconnection faults of the temperature sensor, and disconnection faults of the functional grounding wire, and give an alarm indication when a fault occurs. 
  • It can be used in conjunction with the AM605-6 fault location transformer. When an insulation fault occurs in a certain line, the alarm information can be quickly displayed and alarmed on the AM634 insulation monitoring device through communication. 
  • Each AM634 insulation monitoring host can be used in conjunction with 4 sets of AM605-6 fault location transformers, and can locate up to 24 lines at most, perfectly realizing comprehensive and rapid location of insulation faults in each operating room. 
  • It can be locally indicated: insulation level kC, transformer load rate, LED indicates insulation OK/insulation fault/current fault/temperature fault. Faults can be output through relay alarm, indicated by LED alarm, and uploaded through communication. 
  • Adopting advanced fieldbus communication technology, it can communicate with external alarm and display instruments and upper computer management software. 
  • It can monitor the operating status of the IT system in real time. 
  • It has an event recording function, which can record the time of alarm occurrence and fault type, facilitating operators to analyze the operating status of the system and eliminate faults in time. 
  • It can realize self-detection of communication wiring, transformer insulation measurement wires, grounding connections, current transformer connections, temperature, and transformer connections. 
  • It has a self-test and mute button. 
  • Programmable alarm buzzer. 
  • Immediately identify the source of the fault.
