Temperature rise and arc protection system for fan units. 

The SPR63 series temperature rise and arc protection device for fan units is mainly applied to wind turbines to realize arc light monitoring and early warning, and cable temperature rise monitoring and early warning for wind turbine units. It provides data support for the design and equipment selection of remote operation and maintenance of wind turbine units. According to different types of arc light sensors configured, the device is divided into: SPR63-OP fiber-optic temperature rise and arc protection device. SPR63-WT photoelectric temperature rise and arc protection device.

Arc protection main unit: 

SPR63-OP device: 

The SPR63-OP is a fiber-optic temperature rise and arc protection device. It is specially designed for the remote operation and maintenance of wind turbines and is suitable for the monitoring and alarming functions of arc light, joint temperature and current. The device is composed of a main unit, an optical-electrical conversion module, an electrical temperature sensor, an arc light sensor, optical fiber, and installation accessories. The arc light sensors are divided into all-light type, white light type and violet light type. At the same time, the action intensity threshold of the optical fiber can be adjusted, and the photoelectric module supports hot plugging.

 

Technical parameters: 

■ Compact in size, rail-mounted. 

■ 100-240V ac/dc power input. 

■ Monitoring of two sets of three-phase currents. 

■ Connection for 6 optical fiber arc light sensors. 

■ Collection of 32 channels of passive radio temperature. 

■ 5 large-capacity programmable trip output contacts. 

■ The alarm and trip logic can be set to three modes: "current", "arc light", and "arc light + current". 

■ RS485 and RJ45 communication ports, supporting MODBUS communication protocol. 

SPR63-WT device: 

The SPR63-WT is a photoelectric temperature rise and arc protection device, mainly composed of an arc light main unit, an arc light sensor, and an electrical temperature sensor. It realizes arc light monitoring of generators, inverters, transformers in box transformers, and high and low voltage side switches in wind turbines. The arc light sensor only supports violet light and is not sensitive to daily light sources. Technical parameters:

■ Three-phase current monitoring. 

■ Connection for 9 arc light point sensors. 

■ Collection of 32 channels of passive radio temperature. 

■ 6 large-capacity programmable trip output contacts. 

■ The alarm and trip logic can be set to three modes: "current", "arc light", and "arc light + current". 

■ Comes with an RS485 communication port and supports the MODBUS communication protocol.

 

Arc light and electrical temperature sensor:

Fiber optic sensor:

■  The sensor is divided into three types: all-light, white light, and ultraviolet light.

■  The ultraviolet light sensor does not respond to visible light; it can avoid the problem of false tripping caused by flashlight irradiation during power site inspections.

■  Wide detection range, with a detection angle range of more than 240 degrees.

■  Spectral response bandwidth: 280nm - 400nm.

■  Standard ST fiber optic interface packaging.

■  Operating temperature: -40°C to +85°C.

 

Photoelectric sensor:

■  Operates when light intensity is greater than 8000 Lux.

■  Detection range of 270°.

■  Meets the vibration requirements of IP61.

■  Not sensitive to daily light sources.
