The pendulum conterflow cooler is new type of the cooler popular among all over the world. It can be applied to cooling blocks and powders, also including pellets. It uses the conterflow cooling principle to cool the high temperature and high humidity material. Namely, the ambient cold air passes vertically through the material layer, firstly contacting with the cold material, and the air gradually become hot and contacting with hot material, the air flow direction and material direction is opposite. Therefore, the material is gradually cooled in the forward direction. While cooling the pellets, the high temperature pellets can be prevented from being directly contact with cold air, thereby causing the surface of pellets to be cracked due to shock cooling. Since the cold air enters into cooler from the bottom in all directions, the air inlet area is large and high utilization rate of cold air. Therefore, the cooling effect is remarkable. The cooler machine feature as low energy consumption, simple operation, high degree of automation, so the pendulum counterflow cooler is better than the vertical and horizontal coolers.
