EHD industrial-grade electrofluidic spray film-making equipment uses high-voltage electric fields to guide the tip of the high-speed jet to break through the Rayleigh limit. It bursts multiple times to produce f-class droplets, which can deposit a uniform and dense film 50nm thick. In 2002, the electrospinning research team was established.

In 2006, the team first proposed near-field direct writing electrospinning.
