Module Function Descriptions:
Automatic Transfer Functions:
Intelligent Transfer: At any given moment, if one mains power fails (including manual transfer), the device will automatically switch to the other power source, eliminating the need for manual switching or the risk of power outage. The system defaults to B as the primary path upon factory shipment.
High/Low Voltage Protection Transfer: When one input AC experiences low voltage or overvoltage, the device will automatically switch to the other power source.
Manual Transfer Functions:
When both power sources are normal, the load can be switched to the other power source by using the control button on the panel.
Power Supply Priority: Can be set by the user, with the system defaulting to power supply B as the priority.
Protection Functions:
Input Protection: Overcurrent protection, undervoltage protection, overvoltage protection, and voltage loss protection.
Overload Protection: The device will automatically cut off the output when the load exceeds 110% of the device's load capacity.
Overvoltage and Undervoltage Protection:
The input voltage detection circuits of input one and input two detect when the voltage of both inputs is simultaneously below or above the working voltage range of the STS. The STS will shut down its output through the control circuit program. When the voltage of one input is below or above the working voltage range of the STS, the STS will automatically switch to the other input with a normal working voltage range. When the voltage returns to normal, the STS will automatically switch back to the original power input.
Overcurrent Protection:
When the output load current of the STS exceeds 110% of the rated current specified by the STS, the STS will cut off the output after 5 seconds and issue an audio and visual alarm. In the event of a short circuit in the downstream load, the STS will also cut off the output and issue an audio and visual alarm to ensure the safety of the downstream load.
Intelligent Alarm Functions:
The device automatically activates an alarm when there are faults such as undervoltage, overvoltage, power loss, and output overcurrent on both inputs.
Self-check function, if there is a fault with the device itself, it will automatically activate an alarm.
Monitoring Functions:
RS485 serial port Modbus protocol is used to implement network management of STS devices. It can be integrated into the room dynamic environment monitoring system through the RS485 serial port for remote monitoring.
LED Display: Working status (one path working or two paths working, one path abnormal or two paths abnormal, and output fault).
LCD Display: LCD liquid crystal display is used to show the running status of the STS: input voltage parameters, output voltage parameters, output current parameters, working status (one path working or two paths working, one path abnormal or two paths abnormal, and output fault), achieving zero-distance communication between human and machine.
