Cutting glass fiber is to cut a continuous filament of glass fiber into a certain length of fiber segments. These segments typically have lengths ranging from a few millimeters to a few centimeters, and their diameters are similar to continuous filaments. Cut glass fiber has high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, excellent insulation properties and high temperature resistance.
Cut glass fiber is widely used in many fields, specifically as follows:
I. Construction field:
Glass fiber cut felt: used to manufacture thermal insulation materials, lining heat materials, filter materials, etc.
Glass fiber reinforced concrete: used to improve the strength, durability and anti-seepage and crack properties of concrete.
