Product information

Aerogel thermal insulation and fireproof material is a kind of solid material with extremely low density and high porosity.


I. Characteristics
Excellent heat insulation: Aerogel is currently known as the lowest thermal conductivity of solid materials, thermal conductivity can be less than 0.016W/(m·K). The radiation heat conduction of silicon aerogel can be further reduced by doping, and the thermal conductivity of carbon-doped aerogel can be as low as 0.012W/(m·K) at normal temperature and pressure, which is the lowest thermal conductivity of solid materials at present.
Fire performance Class A: aerogel itself does not burn, fire rating up to GB8624-2012 building materials and products combustion performance class A requirements.
Good water resistance: The general silica aerogel is hydrophilic, but when the aerogel encounters a chemically active substance, it will form a hydrophobic non-polar group with the oxygen and hydrogen groups on the surface. When 30% of the oxygen and hydrogen groups in the aerogel form hydrophobic groups, the aerogel can be completely hydrophobic.
Good insulation: the dielectric constant is less than 1.003, is a good insulating medium, can reduce the leakage current of the integrated circuit, reduce the capacitance effect between the wires, reduce the integrated circuit heating and so on.
Good sound insulation: the acoustic impedance can be up to 106kg/m2·S, and the porosity enhances the sound absorption effect.
Green environmental protection: does not contain inhalable red vitamin, no irritating effect on the skin, can be buried outside the law.


2. Application field
Building field: wall insulation, aerogels can be used as wall insulation materials, significantly improving the energy-saving performance of buildings.
