Qinghai Qingyi CNC Equipment Co., Ltd. is located in Qinghai Huading Equipment Manufacturing Park, at the north section of Jing'er Road in Qinghai Biological Industry Park, Beicheng District, Xining City, Qinghai Province. The company's predecessor was Qinghai No.1 Machine Tool Factory. In 1965, it was established through the third-line relocation of Qiqihar No.2 Machine Tool Factory and began to produce a series of ordinary milling machines.

In 2001, Qinghai No.1 Machine Tool Factory was reorganized with its high-quality assets and personnel and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the listed company Qinghai Huading Industrial Co., Ltd. - Qinghai Yiji CNC Machine Tool Co., Ltd. In 2015, it was relocated to Qinghai Huading Equipment Manufacturing Park in Qinghai Biological Industry Park, Beicheng District, Xining City. Due to its location in the underdeveloped northwest region, there were differences in thinking concepts. From Qinghai No.1 Machine Tool Factory to the current Qinghai Qingyi CNC Equipment Co., Ltd., the company has always received great attention from the state. Since 1979, the company has been engaged in CNC machine tools, vertical and horizontal machining centers. It is the first domestic enterprise to research and manufacture horizontal machining centers, a production base for machining centers in China, and a key enterprise in horizontal machining centers. It has a profound technical accumulation and the ability to quickly respond to the market in terms of design and research and development.

Over the years, the company has undertaken key scientific and technological projects during the "Ninth Five-Year Plan" and "Tenth Five-Year Plan" periods of the state.
