Structural features
- Cabinet design: The cabinet is made by bending and welding steel plates. The protection level is usually IP30 or IP40. The upper part of the cabinet is the busbar chamber, and the front part of the busbar chamber is the instrument chamber, separated by steel plates. The middle part of the cabinet is the load switch chamber, with insulating partitions between the load switch and other components. For cable inlet and outlet cabinets, there is a detachable movable cover at the bottom of the cabinet; for overhead inlet and outlet cabinets, a busbar passage or barrier frame can be added to the top of the cabinet.
- Functional unit layout: It consists of four parts: the switch chamber, the fuse chamber, the operating mechanism chamber, and the cable chamber (base frame). The switch chamber is composed of various functional circuits sealed in a metal shell and the busbars between them.

- Voltage parameters: Rated voltage 12kV, rated lightning impulse withstand voltage 75/85kV, one-minute power frequency withstand voltage 42/48kV.
- Current parameters: Rated current 630A, rated short-time withstand current 20kA, rated short-time withstand current duration 3s, rated peak withstand current 50kA, transfer current 2000A.
- Other parameters: Rated frequency 50Hz, mechanical life of the load switch 6000 times, mechanical life of the grounding switch not less than 2000 times.
Product features
- Reliable electrical performance: The load switch adopts a compressed air internal blowing structure, with strong arc extinguishing capability, without affecting inter-phase and insulation to ground, with arc contacts on both the moving and static contacts, improving the number of opening times. The fuse and the load switch chamber form the transformer protection circuit, and the fuse melts and the push pin pops out to open the load switch.
- Safe operation and protection: The operating mechanism chamber is on the front of the ring network cabinet. The load switch is equipped with manual (or electric) energy storage spring operating mechanism, and the grounding switch is equipped with manual energy storage spring operating mechanism. The panel has operation buttons, indicator lights, buttons, etc., and the operation of the load switch and the grounding switch has an interlock device to prevent misoperation.
- Compact and economical structure: It adopts a combined metal enclosed structure, with the advantages of simple structure, small volume, and low price. It is suitable for distribution substations in load centers and box-type substations.
Application scenarios:
Suitable for three-phase ring networks and industrial power equipment with an AC 50Hz rated voltage of 10kV, such as factories, schools, residential areas, high-rise buildings, etc., with a three-phase AC system voltage of 3 - 10kV. It is used to receive and distribute electric energy and can be used for ring network power supply and terminal power supply.
