Product Overview

The hot water type lithium bromide absorption heat pump is a high-efficiency heating unit powered by thermal energy sources such as hot water, steam, or natural gas. It recovers low-grade waste heat and upgrades it to a usable high-temperature heat source for process heating or district heating. Using water as the refrigerant and lithium bromide solution as the absorbent, the system operates on an absorption-regeneration cycle to continuously deliver high-temperature hot water.

The system is mainly composed of the generator, condenser, evaporator, absorber, heat exchanger, automatic air purging device, solution pump, refrigerant pump, vacuum pump, and electrical control cabinet.

Working Principle

In the evaporator, refrigerant water evaporates under low pressure by absorbing waste heat from the heat transfer tubes (e.g., from cooling water). The resulting vapor is absorbed by the concentrated lithium bromide solution in the absorber, releasing heat to raise the temperature of the hot water. The resulting dilute solution is pumped through the heat exchanger and into the generator, where it is reheated by an external heat source, generating new refrigerant vapor. This vapor enters the condenser, transferring heat to the hot water and further increasing its temperature. The concentrated solution then returns to the absorber to repeat the cycle, ensuring efficient, continuous, and environmentally friendly heating.
