Overview:

Chemical machinery such as the mortar double helix conical mixer has a wide adaptability to the mixed materials. It will not cause overheating for heat-sensitive materials, will not crush or grind granular materials, and will not cause segregation when mixing materials with significant differences in specific gravity and particle size.

Working principle:

In the conical mixer drum of the DSH series, two asymmetrical screws rotate on their own axes to lift the materials upwards, and the rotating arms rotate slowly around the center. The material outside the screw is made to enter the stud to varying degrees, thereby achieving continuous renewal and diffusion of the material throughout the entire circumference. The two material streams lifted to the upper part then converge towards the central concave cavity, forming a downward material flow that fills the void at the bottom, thus creating a triple mixing effect of convection circulation. The standard conical screw mixer has two stirring screws. In practical applications, depending on the size of the equipment specifications, single (one long screw), double (one or two asymmetrical screws of different lengths), and triple (two short and one long symmetrically arranged) screws can be adopted. Theoretically, the more stirring screws there are, the better the mixing effect will be. The equipment generally adopts a plum blossom-shaped "offset valve", which is closely attached to the bottom of the long spiral, effectively reducing the mixing dead corners. The drive forms are available in manual and pneumatic options. According to the user's requirements, butterfly valves, ball valves, star discharge devices, side discharge devices, etc. can also be installed.

According to the process requirements, this machine can add a jacket outside the mixing drum. By injecting cold or hot media into the jacket, the cooling or heating of the materials can be achieved. Cooling is generally achieved by pumping in industrial water, while heating can be carried out by introducing steam or electrically heating the heat transfer oil.
