Vacuum disc dryer for cyanuric acid
Working principle
Wet materials are continuously added from the feeder to the first layer of the drying tray at the top of the dryer. The rake arm with rake blades rotates, causing the rake blades to continuously flip the materials. The material flows along an exponential spiral over the surface of the drying tray. The material on the small drying tray is transferred to the outer edge and falls onto the outer edge of the large drying tray below. On the large drying tray, the material moves inward and falls into the next layer of small drying tray from the middle discharge port. The large and small drying trays are alternately arranged up and down, allowing the materials to continuously flow through the entire dryer. Heating medium is introduced into the hollow drying tray. The forms of the heating medium include saturated steam, hot water, heat transfer oil and high-temperature molten salt. The heating medium enters from one end of the drying tray and exits from the other end. The dried materials fall from the last layer of the drying tray to the collection tray and are finally transferred to the discharge port by the rake blades for discharge. The moisture overflows from the material and is discharged through the moisture outlet located on the top cover. For the vacuum disc dryer, the moisture is drawn out through the vacuum outlet located on the top cover. The dry materials discharged from the bottom layer can be directly packaged. By adding auxiliary equipment such as finned heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag filters, pre-dryers, and induced draft fans, its drying production capacity can be enhanced. It can dry pasty and heat-sensitive materials, conveniently recover solvents, and perform operations such as heating, cooling, calcination, sublimation, pyrolysis, and reactions.

Characteristics
(1) Easy to regulate and highly applicable
The drying process is made to reach the ideal state by adjusting the thickness of the material layer, the rotational speed of the main shaft, the number of rake arms, the type and size of the rake blades.
Each layer of the drying tray can be independently heated or cooled by introducing hot or cold media, ensuring accurate and easy temperature control of the materials.
The residence time of the materials can be adjusted.
The flow direction of the materials is single, with no backmixing phenomenon. The drying is uniform, the quality is stable, and no further mixing is required.
(2) It is simple and easy to operate
The start-up and shutdown operations of the dryer are very simple.
After the feeding is stopped, the scraper blades for conveying materials can quickly empty the materials in the dryer.
Through the special large inspection door sight glass, the interior of the equipment can be cleaned and observed very carefully.
(3) Low energy consumption
The material layer is very thin, the spindle speed is low, the power required by the material conveying system is small, and the electricity consumption is low.
Drying by conducting heat features high thermal efficiency and low energy consumption.

Atmospheric pressure type: Due to the low air flow velocity inside the equipment and the fact that the humidity distribution inside the equipment is higher at the top and lower at the bottom, dust is difficult to float to the top of the equipment. Therefore, the exhaust gas discharged from the top moisture outlet contains almost no dust.
Sealed type: Equipped with a solvent recovery device, it can conveniently recover the organic solvents in the moisture-carrying gas. The solvent recovery device is simple and has a high recovery rate. For flammable, explosive, toxic and easily oxidized materials, nitrogen can be used as the moisture-carrying gas for closed-loop circulation to ensure safe operation. It is particularly suitable for the drying of flammable, explosive and toxic materials.
Vacuum type: A disc dryer that operates under vacuum conditions, especially suitable for the drying of heat-sensitive materials.
(5) Easy to install and occupies a small area
The dryer is delivered as a whole and transported as a whole. It only needs to be hoisted into position, and the installation and positioning are very easy.
