Our company’s hybrid (dry-wet) cooling tower offers the following advantages: 1) Vertical arrangement for the dry cooling section The dry cooling bundles are arranged vertically on both sides of the tower. Installation is simple — they can be hoisted from outside the tower, saving time and labor. The vertical arrangement results in a relatively tall tower, providing a certain degree of natural draft capability. Compared with a horizontal arrangement, it offers stronger airflow. Easier maintenance: With the dry cooling bundles vertically placed on both sides of the tower, sufficient maintenance space is reserved. Maintenance of the dry cooling triangular bundles does not require dismantling the fan, making servicing more convenient. This arrangement allows the circulating water to drain quickly and completely into the basin or underground tank by gravity, preventing pipe freezing in winter. 2) High-efficiency finned heat exchangers In our bid proposal, the dry cooling section uses 304 stainless steel tube–aluminum fin heat exchangers, which have the following advantages: High heat transfer coefficient: The aluminum fins are designed with louvered openings to enhance turbulence; the fins are expanded and tightly bonded to the stainless steel tubes, ensuring high heat transfer efficiency. Simple maintenance: If a heat exchange bundle is damaged, it can be repaired by inserting and expanding a small tube. Washable: The continuous fins guide water flow, making cleaning easy. With 1–2 cleanings per year, heat transfer performance can be maintained over the long term. This type of heat exchange bundle is widely used in the domestic power, silicon, and chemical industries, with stable operation, an excellent track record, and strong customer recognition. Please refer to “Special Report 1: Heat Exchanger Optimization and Selection” for details. 3) Heat exchanger service life > 30 years Our stainless steel tube–aluminum fin heat exchangers use a chromium-free passivation process with imported German raw materials. The zirconium-titanium passivation film is dense and gap-free, having passed 700-hour salt spray tests with a surface quality rating of Grade 9 (highest grade). The O-rings are made from imported Dow Chemical rubber material, using our proprietary formulation and peroxide vulcanization process, and undergo spectrum-based inspection to ensure stable supply quality. These two key technologies guarantee a service life of 30 years for the heat exchangers.
