The pig receiving and receiving device, referred to as the ball receiving and receiving cylinder, belongs to a pipeline accessory and is widely used in various media transmission pipelines. Generally installed at both ends of the main pipeline, it is used to launch and receive pig pigs, pass ball to sweep the line before the pipeline is put into production, and remove wax, oil and scale after it is put into production.
Serves and receivers
The ball serving device is generally made of steel pipes with the same diameter as the pipeline to be cleaned (or about 100 larger because the ball size is different). The front end is equipped with a flange cover (used to hold the ball) and has an air inlet (the size is determined according to the air volume). The rear end is used to connect with the pipeline and can be welded or otherwiseflange connection(with variable diameter), the length is determined according to the size of the sphere.
The ball receiving device is similar to the ball receiving device, except that a bleed valve is provided at the front (upper) to relieve pressure in the pipeline after receiving the ball, and a sewage outlet is opened at the lower part to remove debris and liquid accumulation in the front of the ball.
There are many types of pigs used for pipeline pigging, which can be roughly divided into three types:
1. Pig ball (round ball typerubber ball);
2. Leather bowl pig (sizing pig, sizing pig, isolation pig, bidirectional pig, etc.);
3.foam pig(High, medium and low density foam pig).
The advantages of the cup pig are that it can maintain a fixed direction when running in the pipeline, and can carry various testing instruments and other devices, such as detecting the deformation of the pipeline, replacing media and cleaning the space inside the pipe, and removing rust on the pipe wall.
working principle
In the pipeline to be operated, place the corresponding series of pig pigs according to the operation requirements. The outer edge of the pig cup is elastically sealed with the inner wall of the pipeline, using the pressure difference generated by the medium transported in the pipeline as the driving force to push the pig to run along the pipeline. Rely on the scraping and scouring effects of the pig itself or the machinery it carries to remove scale or deposits in the pipeline
