product Overview
The valve stem of forged steel internally threaded, socket-welded globe valves has a relatively short opening or closing stroke and a reliable shut-off function. During the opening and closing process, the friction between the valve flap and the sealing surface of the valve body is smaller than that of the gate valve. Therefore, it is wear-resistant, and the opening height is generally only 1/4 of the diameter of the seat channel, so it is much smaller than the gate valve. Generally, there is only one sealing surface on the valve body and valve disc, which is easy to maintain. Globe valves should be used on pipelines or devices with high temperature and high pressure media. For example, on high temperature and high-pressure pipelines of thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, and petrochemical systems, it can also be applied to water, steam, oil products, nitric acid and other media.
