product Overview
The valve stem of forged steel flanged globe valves has a relatively short opening or closing stroke, and has a very reliable shut-off function. During the opening and closing process, because the friction between the valve flap and the sealing surface of the valve body is smaller than that of the gate valve, it is wear-resistant. The opening height is generally only 1/4 of the diameter of the seat channel, so it is much smaller than the gate valve. Generally, there is only one sealing surface on the valve body and valve disc, which is easy to maintain. Globe valves should be used on pipelines or devices with high temperature and high pressure media. For example, on high temperature and high pressure pipelines of thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, and petrochemical systems, it can also be applied to water, steam, oil products, nitric acid and other media. nbsp;
product features
1. The structure is simpler than a gate valve and is more convenient to manufacture and maintain. 2. The sealing surface is not easy to wear and scratch, and has good sealing performance. There is no relative sliding between the valve flap and the sealing surface of the valve body during opening and closing, so the wear and scratch are not serious, the sealing performance is good, and the service life is long. 3. When opening and closing, the flap stroke is small, so the height of the stop valve is smaller than that of the gate valve, but the structural length is longer than that of the gate valve. 4. The opening and closing torque is large and the opening and closing is difficult. The opening and closing time is principal. 5. The fluid resistance is high. Because the medium channel in the valve body is tortuous, the fluid resistance is high and the power consumption is high. 6. Medium flow direction. When the nominal pressure PN≤16MPa, downstream flow is generally used, and the medium flows upward from below the valve flap; when the nominal pressure PN≥20MPa, countercurrent flow is generally used, and the medium flows downward from above the valve flap to increase sealing performance. 7. The valve disc is often eroded when fully opened.
