Nitrogen production through membrane separation benefits from the development of the chemical industry and the continuous emergence of new materials. It began to be commercialized in the 1880s. The core of membrane separation is the physical process of achieving gas separation by utilizing the different diffusion coefficients of different components in air in the membrane fiber wall (polymer material). Polymer materials are made into hollow fiber membrane filaments as thick as human hair. When gas passes through the hollow interior of the membrane fiber filaments, the permeation rates of different components of gases on the fiber wall are different, resulting in different permeation amounts. Through a certain length of membrane fibers, nitrogen with the required purity is obtained (90 - 99.99%). The discharged oxygen-rich gas seeps out from the side walls of the membrane fibers, and the oxygen-rich concentration can reach about 40%.
