Air-to-Air Plate Heat Exchanger
The air/air plate heat exchanger uses metal corrugated plates as heat transfer elements and is sealed using a welding process, which greatly improves the safety and reliability of the heat exchanger. It has the characteristics of high heat transfer coefficient, low pressure drop, and small footprint. It is a new type of high-efficiency heat exchange equipment.
Product Features:
1. For gas heat exchange above 300°C, plate heat exchangers are an upgraded alternative to finned tube and shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
2. They are lightweight, occupy a small footprint, and can be installed on buildings; the heat exchange area per cubic meter can reach 20 m²/m³ (compared to approximately 4-5 m²/m³ for shell-and-tube heat exchangers).
3. Bidirectional corrugated plates with a thickness of ≤1.2 mm significantly improve the heat transfer coefficient of the heat exchanger, achieving a heat transfer efficiency 2-3 times that of ordinary shell-and-tube and finned tube heat exchangers, with an overall heat transfer coefficient exceeding 40 W/m²·K.
4. An elastic structural design effectively mitigates thermal expansion issues.
5. The operating temperature of the hot fluid can reach 950°C.
6. The equipment's fully welded structure eliminates leakage.
7. The heat exchanger utilizes corrugated plates and a peak welding process, ensuring structural stability and preventing deformation. The amount of stainless steel used per square meter is only two-fifths of that used for shell-and-tube heat exchangers. 8. Modular design allows for multiple configurations, with a single unit accommodating an area exceeding 2,000 square meters.
9. The equipment features internal insulation using a combination of insulation materials, maintaining a wall temperature of ≤60°C.
10. Applications: Applications for indirect heat exchange, such as drying clean items, heating combustion air, and recovering waste heat from flue gas.
11. Customization is possible based on project needs.
