The CTX annular gap high-efficiency centrifugal extractor is used for the extraction and separation of two-liquid phase systems with density differences. This product won the National Science Conference Award, Anhui Province High-tech Products, Anhui Province Science Progress Award and multiple invention patents. Including mixed mass transfer and two-phase separation processes, both processes are completed in the same machine.
working principle
The annular centrifugal extractor is based on the Taylor vortex principle. When the rotating speed of the rotary drum is higher than a certain critical value, the liquid-liquid flow in the annulus will be unstable, and a series of alternating positive and negative and orderly arranged annular vortices will be generated along the axis direction. This secondary flow is called Taylor vortex. It is through the Taylor vortex that the extractant and the material complete the two-phase mixing.
Features Introduction
Annular centrifugal extractors have relatively intense agitation and high mixing intensity. They generally have upper and lower supporting structures, with feed in the middle of the cylinder, and bearings at the bottom of the drum. Therefore, mechanical seals are required, which are generally replaced once or twice a year, at a cost of about 1,000 yuan. The advantages are: large length-diameter ratio and good mixing strength. Therefore, the mass transfer efficiency is high, the phase separation effect is good, and it is widely used abroad.
