The PXC2190 PXI Express embedded controller is based on the seventh-generation Intel ® Core ™i7 processor and is specifically designed for hybrid PXI Express based test systems, providing maximum computing power for a variety of test and measurement applications.
The PXC2190 combines the seventh-generation Intel ® Core ™i7 processor and up to 32GB of 2400 MHzDDR4 memory. It uses a single compute engine on a single processor, using a separate compute engine on a single processor, and is able to perform multiple independent tasks simultaneously in a multitasking environment. The PXC2190 can support four-link x4 or two-link x8 PXI Express link functions, and the maximum system throughput of the PCI Express 3.0 bus is as high as 16 GB/s.
The PXC2190 provides ample interface flexibility, including two DisplayPort connectors to allow connection to two displays, dual USB 3.0 connections for high-speed peripherals, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, one for LAN connections and one for controlling LXI instruments, four USB 2.0 ports for peripheral and USB instrument control, and a Micro-D GPIB connector for GPIB instrument connections for PXI based hybrid test system control.
