The PXC1182 is an 18-slot PXIE xpress chassis that complies with the PXIE xpress and cPCI Express specifications. It provides 1 system slot, 1 system timing slot, 10 hybrid peripheral slots and 6 PXI Express peripheral slots. It is suitable for a variety of testing and measurement applications that require enhanced bandwidth. The PXES-2780 provides a configurable PCIe switch fabric that can be configured for dual-link and four-link PXI Express deployments. Thanks to its PCIe gen2 signal technology, the system bandwidth is 8 GB/s and dedicated peripheral slot bandwidth is up to 4 GB/s. The PXC1182 implements an intelligent system monitoring controller that reports complete chassis status, including fan speed, system voltage and internal temperature. The PXC1182 is equipped with industrial-grade AC power supply that delivers 800 watts of power at 55° C, three 120 mm fans on the rear of the chassis provide excellent cooling capabilities, and two BNC connectors on the rear panel for 10 MHz clock inputs/outputs increase the flexibility of the chassis, allowing it to synchronize with auxiliary equipment. All in all, the PXC1182 is the PXI Express platform of choice that meets test and measurement requirements.
