Product information
The BH1050 Core Loss Tester is an instrument specially designed to measure core loss. It is equipped with a high-power high-frequency sine wave power supply and can provide a maximum current of 1600Vp-p @ 100Ap-p to drive a high-power core inductor. The phase measurement repeatability of the BH1050 is 0.02deg at 500kHz. It still maintains quite good accuracy for measuring low-loss magnetic cores such as iron-silicon aluminum, iron-nickel, iron-nickel-molybdenum and other cores under high-frequency testing conditions. BH1050 adopts Cross-Power method (|EC62044 -3), using high-precision current measurement resistors to reduce phase measurement errors, and the measurement circuit has complete gain and phase compensation characteristics.
INGENUWORK loss tester can be customized and developed according to your needs. For more parameters, indicators and application solutions, please contact customer service for consultation.

testing principle
The BH1050 adopts Cross-Power method (IEC62044-3). The BH1050 host has a built-in high-power and low-distortion high-frequency power amplifier power supply. The power amplifier power supply drives the inductor under test to reach the frequency and magnetic flux density that need to be tested. Then the current signal flowing through the inductor and the voltage signal across the inductor are acquired through a high-speed data collector. After accurately measuring the amplitude and phase difference of the signal, the lost power can be calculated.
