Koenig Austria is a family-owned business managed and operated by an appointed CEO. The Austrian headquarters are located in the Graz region. We manufacture and distribute baking equipment, dough dividing, rolling, forming, casting, semi-finished and finished products, etc. We conduct our global business through subsidiaries and sales partners, with 50 sales partners worldwide.

Helmut König, founder and pioneer of Koenig, came from a bakery family in Hartberg, with a long and rich tradition behind them. He had been familiar with the wishes and problems of the bakery industry from a young age and designed his first bread machine to make his parents 'hard work in the bakery easier.

In 1966, while studying at the Technical University of Graz, Helmut König founded the "Helmut König Machinery Factory", a one-person company. At that time, the vision of the future graduate engineer was already clear.

The goal of our efforts must be to support bakeries during the production phase. Even after the death of Helmut-König in 1992, this concept still influenced the company's development and became a guarantee for König to maintain its leading position in the global market.
