CIDAN MACHINERY
Founded in Sweden-since 1907
Swedish CIDAN Machinery was known in Sweden at that time as Göteneds Mekaniska Verkstad AB, and began producing machine tools in 1907. In the 1940s, Göteneds began designing and manufacturing high-quality machine tools for sheet metal processing. Over the years, we have successively achieved a large number of solutions and design **, which is a development trend that we should be proud of and cherish. We will continue to develop and produce machine tools for the sheet metal processing industry, and continue to provide our customers with high precision, high reliability and high strength machine tools.
Although CIDAN machine tools have been sold around the world, the design process and production of all machine tools are still completed in Götene, Sweden. We have introduced the * advanced production equipment and processing concepts, but CIDAN's core values are still consistent with those of 1907.
CIDAN MACHINERY is a fusion of 5 companies.
At the end of 2017 CIDAN Machinery acquired Forstner Maschinenbau from Austria. Forstner was founded in 1960 and has extensive experience in sheet metal handling such as shear lines, leveling units, feed mechanisms, control systems, uncoilers and winders. This makes CIDAN Machinery the perfect combination of art and high quality in the field of sheet metal processing equipment. In 2019 CIDAN Machinery acquired Austria nuIT, an IT specialist in automation and metal decoration production. In early 2022, CIDAN Machinery acquired THALMANN, a Swiss long material folding machine manufacturer. This marks an important step for CIDAN Group in its journey as a one-stop construction sheet metal equipment factory and software developer, integrating all units from uncoiling to bending.
