1909 The  Company is founded by Oswald Foster.
1914 Entered the Commercial Register as a manufacturer of horizontal mechanically driven broaching machines.
1928 Expanded production range to include hydraulic drives for horizontal machines of single and double cylinder design and later vertical machines.
1940 Establishment of an independent plant for the production of Enor drives.
1970 Build an automatic broach tool sharpening mill to increase tool and service life.
2003 Michael Kolk acquired Foster and managed the company as owner.
2007 Build the world's * modern gas turbine broaching machine.
2017 The 50th RISH screw broaching machine was delivered.
2019 Established China subsidiary Freund Metal Broaching Technology (Nanjing) Co., Ltd.
