Driven by the demand that eventually became the company's first customer, Grasselli designed and built his first peeling machine.
Convinced of the value of his invention, he decided to no longer focus solely on the domestic market (the birthplace of many famous Italian meat processors), but immediately turned his attention to global trade and participated in the international expo in Paris.
The superior efficiency of the first Grassley machine has not been ignored: Grassley was already in use just a few months after its establishment.
