Rantek was formerly established in 1989 by a group of Finnish papermaking experts to provide energy-saving and operability optimization solutions for the pulp and papermaking industry.
Finnish Rantek Systems Co., Ltd. was officially established in 1996. Acquired Ecopump in 2008, acquired Selotek in 2011, and acquired EVGroup in 2017. The company is located in two processing bases in Kotka and Kolho, totaling 8000 square meters.
The company's main business methods are paper machine audit: proposing solutions, design, debugging, installation, continuous optimization and service, and close communication and cooperation with users to ultimately achieve the effect of improving paper machine operability and reducing unit consumption. Therefore, Lantec only has one goal, which is to keep up with the final needs of pulp and paper companies and work with users to improve the operating efficiency of paper machines.
In February 2018, Gardner Denver acquired Rantek and incorporated it into the Industrial Division. After joining Gardner Denver, Rantek launched the Runtech by Gardner Denver brand to continue to serve the global pulp and paper industry.
