INSTEC is a Scientific Instrument (INS) Technology (TEC) company focusing on precision thermal control. We have designed a large number of microscope, spectroscopy and electrical detection tools for materials science, liquid crystal, electronics and biology research.
INSTEC was founded in 1984 by a group of pioneering liquid crystal physics researchers from the University of Colorado Boulder. We started building the HS1 hot phase prototype from a humble garage, and INSTEC's goal is to create highly flexible heating and cooling phases to meet stringent research needs.
