German Herbkenikissa Co., Ltd. is named after the founder and engineer Herbkenikissa, and was founded in 1948. Initially engaged in the manufacturing of garment machinery such as garment clipping and ironing machines and gluing machines. Since the 1950s, it has served both the garment industry and the washing industry. Ironing machines and folding systems were developed in the 1960s. In the 1970s, the company made a major strategic adjustment: it abandoned the garment industry and focused on serving the washing industry, while further enriching and improving the finishing product line. In the 1990s, four companies were acquired one after another, including Passat, the then famous washing cage manufacturer. A series of acquisitions have greatly enhanced Kenikisha's overall strength, giving it the ability to fully serve a central laundry plant that is expanding in scale and requires increasing automation and efficiency. Also since the 1990s, Kenikisha has embarked on the path of internationalization in addition to stabilizing the Western European market. To date, it has more than 50 branches or representative offices around the world. It has become a veritable manufacturer of industrial washing equipment in many aspects such as quality, technical level, product line depth and breadth.
