VOMM Impianti - Processi was founded in the late 1960s to develop new and more efficient production technologies for Zini Prodotti Alimentari, a company engaged in the food industry.
In just a few years, **'s VOMM technology, known as turbocharging technology, has been successfully applied not only in the food industry, but also in many other industries for the processing of raw materials and by-products.
Research and development of the application of turbocharging technology has led Worm to develop more than a hundred international projects covering innovative processes and new equipment used in various industries (flour, rubber, soap, detergents, sludge, waste, biomass, etc.).
The market immediately enthusiastically embraced Wome turbocharging technology, and now more than 500 factories have been installed around the world in industries ranging from food to environment, chemical and pharmaceutical.
Today, VOMM is a sound and consolidated global benchmark and one of the * respected suppliers of innovation environments and industrial technology solutions: a perfect example of true Italian manufacturing technology.
We have won many important projects, such as the Milan Chamber of Commerce's Technological Innovation *(1996 and 1997) and the China's Best Environmental Project * at the Beijing City Sewage Treatment Sludge Drying Plant (2010). Our technology was selected as the environmental infrastructure in Sochi (Russia), the venue of the 2014 Winter Olympics.
Over the years, we have been involved in several European Community projects (Life, Brite and Eureka).
We are a partner in the LIFE+ Sustainable Cruises European project, which aims to reduce, recycle and recycle organic waste generated on cruise ships to zero environmental impact on marine ecosystems.
