It began in 1894 when Hermann Heller, then 25 years old, founded the company "Hermann Heller Handelsgeschäft und Fabrikation in geschützten Artikeln und Uhrmacherwerkzeugen" in Nirtingen. Today, the HELLER Group develops and produces the latest CNC machine tools and machining manufacturing systems, with 2,600 employees worldwide.

HELLER in China
1950 The first Henglun machine tool crossed the ocean and was delivered to China's first commercial vehicle manufacturer.
2004 Henglun Shanghai Trading Co., Ltd. was established in Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone.
2009 Henglun China established its own application engineering technology center and a local spare parts warehouse in Shanghai.
In 2012, Henglun began building a production plant in Changzhou, located in the vibrant Jiangsu market, providing support to our global and China business partners.
2013 Since June 2013, the wholly-owned subsidiary Henglun Machine Tool (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. has become the headquarters of Henglun China, with a total area of 24,000 square meters.
2014 Henglun Changzhou factory began producing CBC machine tools for China and Asian markets.
2017 Henglun China welcomed 120 guests from CRRC to its Changzhou factory. This visit laid a solid foundation for the two parties to establish close business cooperation.
2018 Henglun China organized a three-day open day for customers in the automotive industry. Among the attendees were more than 300 current and potential customers from across the country.
2019 The first H6000 four-axis horizontal machining center was assembled at the Changzhou factory to meet local market demand.
Initially, the company operated and manufactured a variety of tools, including enhanced parallel vise designs that were in great demand at the time. The company's product line also includes spiral steel stairs and chimney heads.
As a small trading company, the company started a profitable machine manufacturing business in 1898, developing cold round metal sawing machines, saw blade scraping and thread cutting machines. In 1899, the company began building its first factory on the outskirts of Neuffener Vorstadt, which it moved in in 1900.
In the early 1950s, HELLER developed an electro-hydraulic control system and introduced 24V relay control for machine tools. As early as 1962, HELLER developed CNC milling machines and machining centers with automatic tool changing functions, allowing more complex operations to be performed on a single machine.
British and Brazilian factories were established in 1974. In 1982, HELLER began mass production of the HELLER uniPro NC 80 equipped with the * advanced digital control technology. In 1982, HELLER established a new factory in the United States.
In 2004, HELLER established subsidiaries in Shanghai and Beijing. In 2013, the company established a factory in Wujin. Amid the delicate balance between traditional mid-sized family-owned businesses and global innovative processing solutions providers, HELLER Group has developed a unique global corporate culture.
