HGH Infrared Systems started in 1982, and the story begins when two French pioneers of infrared technology met at that time. René Huis is the director of the French subsidiary of an industrial thermal camera manufacturer, and Gilbert Gausger is the head of the French Navy Optoelectronics Laboratory. When they decided to create HGH Infrared Systems, they designed customized optoelectronic equipment based on specific requirements to provide innovative optoelectronic solutions for panoramic monitoring, optoelectronic testing and process monitoring. In 2004, in order to develop its sales in the China market, HGH Infrared Systems opened its first office in China in Beijing. In 2019, HGH Group launched global brand integration to better reflect its global leader position in the optoelectronic market.
